The Yarra Valley is famous for its magnificent world class wineries and restaurants including DeBortoli, Domain Chandon, Rochford Winery, Yarra Yering, St Huberts, Oakridge, Innocent Bystander and Giant Steps, Leventine Hill, Medhurst and Maddens Rise Wineries are some of the best to be found.
There are many beautiful boutique wineries throughout the Yarra Valley. The wineries of ‘Maddens Lane”are some of my very favourite. Others include Hanrahan’s where the hospitality is truly generous and the ‘Shiraz’ is one of the Valleys best.
For a truly special experience Meletos is the place to visit. The food, wine, service and views are all world class. A trip to the Yarra Valley Dairy, home of local cheese and wine is just down the road.
Leventin Hill Winery is known to be in the upmarket end of the dinning experience in the Yarra Valley.
Standout Pubs with great food include The Yarra Glen Grand Hotel in Yarra Glen and The Terminus Hotel in Healeaville.
